First EP release by artist 維新. Inspired by Asian, especially Chinese music, the artist tried to write songs that combine synthesizers and harmonic bell-like sounds.

故宫 (gùgōng) - which means 'Forbidden City' - tells a story taking place in ancient China.

The pictures included in the booklet are meant to give some kind of push to the audience's fantasy, while listening to the tracks.

While most of the musicians nowadays are trying to make good music, the audience is willing to listen to, I tried to make music "'coz of the music's will". It's not meant to be music, you really want to listen to, but more an artistic experiment to create asian-sounding music from distorted sounds.
